DFA Friends and Family:

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common
men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 ESV

Of all the testimonies one could have, how great is it that people recognize that
“they had been with Jesus”? This has to be the ultimate testimony. One’s life has
been so transformed, one’s character so shaped, one’s spirit so revived that
everyone recognizes the change.

That truly is what 40 Days of Fire is about. Spending time with God. Spending
time in the presence of God. Being changed by the Spirit of God. Being
transformed by the Word of God.

After these 40 Days, I am expecting to be different. I am expecting you to be
different. I am expecting people to notice the difference in my life and yours. Not
for our glory. In the above passage, it wasn’t Peter or John who received the
glory—it was God.

As our 40 Days draw to a close, I will once again be going on a prayer quest. I
will be leaving February 20 and return February 24. I will be collecting your
prayer requests between now and then. As last year, I will be praying and
fasting during this time—praying and fasting for you and your needs. Now,
before you forget, write down what you want me to pray for during this time. I
need them by Sunday, February 19.

Lastly, we are concluding our 40 Days differently this year. We will be gathering
on Sunday evening at Job Church of God with Job and Whitmer Churches of God.
However, this will not be a one-night Pentecost rally. We will be gathering each
night that week for a Pentecost Revival. We are praying now for an outpouring of
the Holy Spirit on lives. We are praying for lives to be re-empowered, re-filled, re-
energized, revived! We are expecting God to move. Plan now to be part of what
God is doing.

Expect your life to be different after you have been with Jesus.

Day 37

I AM YOURS FOR ALL ETERNITY,  I am the Alpha and the
Omega:  the one who is and was and is to come.  The world you
inhabit is a place of constant changes-more than your mind can
absorb without going into shock.  Even the body you inhabit is
changing relentlessly, in spite of modern science's attempts to
prolong youth and life indefinitely.  I, however, am the same
yesterday and today and forever.

Because I never change, your relationship with Me provides a
rock-solid foundation for your life.  I will never leave your side.  
When you move on from this life to the next, My Presence beside
you will shine brighter with each step.  You have nothing to fear,
because I am with you for all time and throughout eternity.
